Below is a list of resources and references you can use to help inspire your homily.
--Catholic productions (https://catholicproductions.com) has a very helpful homiletic resource. It is subscription base which means there is a price but they do a great job of breaking open the Gospels.
-- Fr. Anthony Kadavi - If you email Fr. Tony, he will send you weekly emails with 20+ pages of stories, Scriptural background, jokes, etc. FREE. (May ask for a donation).Or, go to his website that lists his homilies.

-- Fr. Mark Link: Fr. Link has 3 homilies for every Sunday for all three cycles. You can order them from Deacon Sil. (He can send you a download pdf very reasonably).

-- Deacon Jim Miles: Sends a daily email with the readings of the day with Scriptural background and ideas for homilies. FREE. Click here for his email.

-- Fr. Jim Marchionda - Sends a weekly email with a video for the coming week's homily. Ask to get on his email list.

-- The site - liturgy.slu.edu. It is the St. Louis University site. That's a Jesuit institution. Each week they have about 10 articles by different authors on the Sunday Scriptures: "a very helpful resource for historical background, social applications connecting the readings for homily preparation."
